about

Following the release of the music video for final LION EATER single "Save the Leaves" [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaoXgvg2lWM ] -- directed by the incomparable J.C. Sciaccotta, who also helmed the clip for the band's first visual effort, "I Try to Breathe" [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxg06uVbyyw ] -- the band feels the need to celebrate, and are doing so with an exclusive digital single. It is here that the band not only unleashes two unheard rarities from the LION EATER sessions (the moody instrumental "Drum Near End" and the strummy "Velvet Crucifix"), they also bring back a cover of the song by the fantastic electro-pop outfit Putty [ putty.bandcamp.com ] as well as release a brand-new cover of the album track "Teach Me Speaking" by young singer Daniel Demorest, who was previously heard covering "Susan's Lampshade" on the PURE RADIO HYMNAL EP [ correspondinghandpieces.bandcamp.com/album/pure-radio-hymnal-ep ]. A joyous treat for all, undoubtedly.

The music video comes as an MP4 bonus for those who download the full album.
